Sally Daoud
A Survey of the Senses

An exploration of daily life, activities, and memories through sensory design.

A Survey of the Senses is a publication that details my experiences and personal evaluations as to how sensory design is applied in my life. This survey was completed through the use of daily documentation of my emotions, habits and activities formed from my everyday routines, and common objects that I use around my house. The purpose of this publication was to understand the connection between design and our five senses, which aided in analyzing how engaging these senses impacts our emotions and behavior.
