Overview

Meraki, from the Greek word μεράκι meaning to leave a piece of yourself within your work, documents my process of learning pottery over the course of six weeks. Through ceramic pieces, process photography, written reflections, and participant involvement, the project examines the relationship between the inner critic and the creative process. Ultimately, Meraki advocates for creative play as a way to reconnect with curiosity, self-expression, and creating without fear of imperfection or outcome.
